Living between Switzerland and New York, the Swiss-Italian Designer Manuela-Federica Krebser says her studio is dear to her heart. A variety of cultural inspirations during her childhood led to travels across multiple imaginary and real voyages. Manuela :« Travelling in imagination, I exit the environment I see with my eyes and enter the one I see in my memories, as our memory registers each single moment of our existence and makes our inspiration infinite. I start with a color, a thought, a contrast or even just a melody and first of all feel the emotion my client wishes to transmit to his own clients. I always create an individual, new entity for reaching the target of the desired expression.

My work is never about « my own style », but always about the desired result of the client ». She applies the rule of the golden ratio to every new creation; figurative ones, two- or three dimensional ones, geometric ones, commercial ones, or corporate branded-ones.

Is the influence of her famous mother, the novellist Federica de Cesco, the root of her talent? « It might be possible, as the basis of her art is the same one. Her medium is « words », and mine is « forms and colors ». The results achieved are the same: an emotional tension which holds back the spectator or reader». The main target of my creations is to express the feeling my client wishes to transmit.

This may relate to marketing, to sales, or to his own reputation. For this, I see my contribution as a «service», despite the high artistic exigence I'm asked to meet by my clients, this sometimes at the highest international level ».
Her Design-Collections are often compared to the artistic value of HERMES or Versace. Manuela-Federica defines herself as « an artist at the service of her clients». The term « artist » I prefer to be expressed by a client rather than by myself » she says, aware of the important recognition they attribute to her work in Asia, Russia, Europe as well as in the United States.
